So Tired!!

January 5th

grating the ginger to extract it's juice. We got this ginger @ H-Mart, and it is way juicier and spicier than the one I got from work! 

poured a cup of milk and a tsp of sugar and nuked it for 1 minute 

decided to make caramelized chicken

With a little help :) It was delish!

So I bought myself an early birthday present with the money grandma gave me for christmas at Target (I spend way too much there -__-) I bought.... A SEWING MACHINE!! and I also made an excuse to buy it so I can sew on his name tapes... I have always talked about buying one myself, but I always ended up borrowing grandmas. I guess this was meant to be! I can't wait to start on making his custom pillow for when he deploys to Afghanistan. 

Finished three pairs of pants, and his backpack! Went to sleep at 12:30ish and woke up at 3 am to drive him to work. I was so tired by the time I got home at 11 AM from work, I slept for 5 hours and woke up with the most horrible headache. Then I went to go pick him up around 6 and we went to bed at 9:00 that night. We were so tired!!



January 6th

I went to work today at 5 am - 1 pm, and he dropped me off at work instead this time (save time and gas!) Work was alright - Seemed like I had the longest morning ever, but just like any other day at work, the shift eventually ends! My room mate picked me up, and we headed over to the comminsary/vons to pick up food for tomorrows trip to Disneyland. (We are going to  make sandwiches instead of paying $15/person a meal) We also stopped by Petco to pick up some wet food for Ryu. He has not been eating his food like he used to, so I figured the wet food will spike his appetite.


Anyways - we come back and Jerry took me to the beach that was close by our house. We also brought Ryu, and it is the first time he has ever set foot on a beach!

I think this was the longest two days ever! So glad the weekend has started and dinner is almost done! I can't wait to get ready for disneyland
